Born in Cap-Haïtien — Haiti's cultural heart and the place where independence was declared — Frantzdy moved to the United States at 11, stepping into a completely new world of language and culture. Football became his way forward. Through dedication and discipline, he earned a college degree while competing at the NCAA Division I level with Northeastern and Coastal Carolina Universities.

Then came his European journey: Belgium, France, and a record-breaking run with Maccabi Haifa, followed by Champions League and a move to AEK Athens. Finally — after 52 years — Haiti makes its return to the FIFA World Cup.

Founded in Haiti, the Frantzdy Pierrot Academy gives young players the chance to train and develop at no cost whatsoever — solely funded by Pierrot himself and run by family members on the ground.

Despite the lack of media, sponsorships and attention, the academy continues to open doors and teach discipline, creating pathways for the next generation of Haitian talent.
